The Eden range of refrigeration controllers comes in two variants – the Eden E for evaporator control and the Eden P, a pack controller to manage compressors and condenser fans. Both models have at their heart RCS’ proven energy saving algorithms, and fully comply with all applicable safety standards, including the recently revised EMC directive 2004/108/EC.

The Eden E evaporator controller can be configured to control either LSV or EEV at the flick of a switch, and a single unit can control up to four LSV evaporators. With eight analogue inputs and two volt-free digital inputs, it is easy to configure for a wide range of multi-cabinet applications – a clear cost advantage over one-cabinet-one-controller alternatives.
In addition to the energy savings delivered by the algorithms which control the unit’s decision-making, the Eden also delivers significant energy savings through its integrated adaptive trim control and regulation.

The Eden P has been designed to control up to eight multi-stage compressors and provide up to 12 stages of condenser control from a single unit. For a typical dual-temperature suction circuit compressor pack, the unit can be configured to manage LT and HT compressors from a single unit, delivering cost advantage and greater ease of use. .
As with the evaporator controller, this variant of refrigeration controllers is packed with energy saving features including analogue condenser and compressor outputs to enable the use of variable speed drives for finer and more efficient control of operating pressures.
