RCS Energy Management has been appointed the exclusive UK distributor and support agent for the industry-leading Bacharach range of gas leak monitors.
Bacharach’s Multi-Zone Gas Leak Monitors offer superior performance, flexibility and functionality for low level continuous monitoring of the refrigerant gases used in most commercial systems including chlorofluruocarbons (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide (C02).
RCS Energy Management Commercial Manager Simon Grater said: “These state-of-the-art fixed gas monitors lead the industry in performance, integration capabilities, initial cost and cost of ownership.
“Unsurprisingly they dominate the North American market with an installed base of more than 25,000 units, so we are delighted to have secured this opportunity to roll them out in the UK.”
Ideally suited to a wide range of food retail, chiller, plant room and walk-in freezers applications, the range features Bacharach’s proprietary infrared sensing technology, virtually eliminating false alarms and extending sensor life.
One part per million
Fast sampling rates, combined with the longest sampling distance in the industry (up to 1,200ft) and best-in-class detection accuracy (as low as 1ppm) mean that leaks can be found earlier, reducing energy and refrigerant consumption.
The entire range is fully F-Gas compliant and has also been designed to ensure ease of installation and ease of use. Features such as automatic calibration, using a fresh air draw back on every polling cycling for a zero bench check, ensure that the class-leading accuracy is continually monitored and maintained.
Simon Grater added: “The Bacharach Multi-Zone gas leak monitoring range is a natural fit alongside our leading-edge environmental and refrigeration control products. Together they ensure a comprehensive solution to meet industry’s growing demand for energy efficient and cost-saving refrigeration.”
